The Verdun Riverside

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an amateur naturalist without a driver's license living in Montreal? Now you can get a taste of the experience! Enjoy a day out on a slightly idealised version of the shore of the St. Lawrence river in the borough of Verdun. Identify 15 common riverside species with the help of the field guide you borrowed from the library and earn a little merit badge for your efforts. La vie est belle!

Note: do not turn up the volume too loudly or the white-throated sparrows will get you.
